Woohoo, it's October!! Halloween is the next holiday to come and we are feeling very festive!!! It is Halloween decor and outfits all month long. We bought the book Room on a Broom last year and it has been a favorite of ours (especially mine!) ever since. I swear it has made me love Halloween as much as I did when I was a kid!
With cooler weather outfits popping up all over the stores, I wanted to share some that caught my eye. Carter's makes it really easy to buy clothes for the kiddos. They put entire outfits together, so with just a few quick clicks, an entire outfit is in your shopping cart and ready for your credit card number!
Preppy boy (so handsome!)// Outdoor boy // Varsity girl (omg I can't believe this outfit, so cute!)// Faux fur vest // Chambray Shift Dress
And, to stay focused on the holiday, glow-in-the-dark skeleton pajamas are a must. There's nothing sweeter than this guy's freshly washed hair, all ready for story time and snuggling before bed!
Check out the pacifier that photo bombed this pic!
Since moving into a real house in a real neighborhood with kids who actually knock on my door on trick-or-treat night, I'm very excited to pass out candy and roam the neighborhood in our Halloween costumes! I'm loving all the Halloween decorations at Pottery Barn (Halloween link) and Crate and Barrel (Halloween link) this year. Might have to pick up some of these cool pumpkin lanterns and festive pumpkin plate. Every October, we go to a local pumpkin patch to get pumpkins, donuts, and hot apple cider. Let's hear it for roasted pumpkin seeds and cool pumpkin carvings! And, this weekend, our street is having it's annual Fall Block Party. It's going to be a fun month... :)
Of course, this month will be filled with our yummy fall inspired foods!
This little toddler style candy corn was made up of peaches, oranges, and bananas. Gotta make sure Xavier doesn't miss out on any festive snacks! I know he isn't old enough to remember, but it makes me happy as a mama to do things like this for him.
Happy October to you all!
