Cetaphil Lotion - Xavier had a rash for a few weeks and our pediatrician recommended this lotion since it has no irritating scents or ingredients. Worked like a charm.
Sassy Ring O Links - One of the first toys Xavier played with. He liked hearing the rings click together and watching them move as he held it.
Aquaphor - Baby - Great for healing cuts, chapped lips, diaper rash, etc. We love this stuff!
Bright Starts Rattle Barbell Toy - A favorite to attach to the car seat. Xavier loves to swat at this toy while in the car.
Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash - We used this as shampoo and soap. We love the scent. Only one extra bottle in the tub!
Triple Paste - Xavier had a bad diaper rash around 3 months. I don't know if it was just coincidence, but after we switched from Desitin to Triple Paste, his rash was remarkably better the next morning. It's expensive, but when your baby screams in pain every time you touch his rash, you don't care the cost of a diaper cream that will work. We use the cheaper Desitin on his mild rashes and it works just fine. Another tip for bad rash - buy the puppy pads at a pet store and lay your baby on them naked for a half hour to air out the rash.
Up & Up Diapers - We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Target brand diapers. They are half the price of Pampers and work just as well. We have an occasional leak, but I've used Pampers and they sometimes leak too. We started using these when Xavier grew out of the Pampers newborn diapers.
Carter's onesies - The best onesies out there. They don't lose their shape, shrink in the dryer, or stretch out like the Gerber ones. We have about 10 of these and pair them with pants w/ an elastic waist.
I cannot remember the name of the yellow toy with the rings on it, but there are tons of toys like that out there. Xavier loves this one and I think we got it at Babies R Us. But any toy like this that has bright colors, rings, rattles, shakers, and make a lot of noise when you move it is sure to keep your baby entertained.
